This award celebrates moments when empathy meets action — whether through lifesaving intervention in an emergency or through sustained performance that goes above and beyond to support colleagues, members, and communities.

This unified award recognizes employees who have:

• Performed lifesaving interventions such as administering CPR, first aid, or making critical emergency decisions that preserved life or prevented serious harm.

• Delivered meritorious performance by demonstrating initiative, reliability, innovation, or exceptional service that significantly advances safety, operational excellence, or organizational mission.

Compassion in Action highlights the spirit of service that drives our members to act courageously, thoughtfully, and with unwavering commitment to others.
