Accident Prevention Submission

Survey & Awards

The Accident Prevention Data Awards is designed to recognize those companies with outstanding safety records and to provide a safety benchmark among natural gas and electric utilities.

Submission of this data will serve two important functions:

  1. Benchmarking Survey – All companies submitting data may receive a summary copy of the results.  This summary version may be very useful in helping to benchmark your safety record against your peer companies.  Note that all company-specific data is kept confidential and data is only shared in a summary format (winning company’s results excepted).
  2. Accident Prevention Award – The companies with the lowest incident rate in their respective category will receive an MEA Accident Prevention Awards.
